My Kids Hated Brushing With Braces Until I Discovered SymplBrush

As a busy mom of two kids, both of whom are in braces, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to manage daily routines — especially when it comes to dental care. Between school, after-school activities and orthodontist appointments, making sure they brush their teeth properly has been a constant battle. My kids struggled to reach their back molars, complained about pain when brushing around their new braces and often tried to skip brushing altogether.

Their orthodontist made it clear that improper brushing could lead to plaque build-up and gum problems and even lengthen their treatment. As a mom who’s invested a lot in their dental care (emotionally and financially!), I was determined to find a solution.

The Search for a Better Toothbrush

I tried everything: electric toothbrushes, water flossers, even apps with timers and games. But nothing seemed to make brushing easier or more efficient. I asked my orthodontist and he recommended SymplBrush. It turned out that a dentist designed SymplBrush to eliminate user error in brushing. It seemed like exactly what we needed — a product that could fit their small mouths and braces while still giving them a proper clean. Excited, I went home and researched it further. What impressed me about SymplBrush was its practical design. You press a button, the bristles activate and all you have to do is guide the brush from side to side while it takes care of the rest. And its flexible head adapts to the shape of each tooth, which meant it could finally reach those back molars my kids always missed without irritating their gums or getting caught on braces. With bristles equivalent to 20 toothbrushes working simultaneously, it cleans thoroughly in just 30 seconds. For kids with so much to juggle and moms like me trying to simplify our hectic daily lives, cutting down the time without sacrificing results was a huge win. I excitedly placed my order, hoping this might finally be the solution we’d been searching for.

Clean Teeth, Happy Kids, Relieved Mom

When our SymplBrushJr Pediatric Starter Kit arrived, I was hopeful. The sleek design immediately caught the kids’ attention; it looked more like a cool gadget than a toothbrush.

After just a week of using SymplBrush, I noticed a difference. The kids were amazed at how quick and painless brushing had become. They said it was much easier to use, especially for those tricky spots.

Their pediatric version is designed for younger kids, starting at ages 4–5, with different mouthpiece sizes that grow with the child. My youngest, who’s just started braces, could use the smaller mouthpiece, while my older one, who’s almost done with braces, comfortably uses the larger size.  Plus, the mouthpieces grow with them, so we don’t have to worry about switching products as they get older.

With SymplBrush’s convenient subscription, I no longer have to scramble through the drawers for spare toothbrush heads or worry about the hygiene of worn-out bristles — every three months, like clockwork, a new set of bristles arrives at our doorstep.

Now, three months after we’ve switched to SymplBrush, I can confidently say it’s transformed our family’s oral care routine. There are no more battles over brushing time; the kids, even my youngest, can use it independently. They had less discomfort around braces, and their teeth and appliances were noticeably cleaner.

But the real test came at our next dentist visit. I held my breath as the dentist examined the kids’ teeth. To my relief, he was impressed. “Whatever you’re doing, keep it up,” he said with a smile.
