For years, I hosted family gatherings and was discouraged to find everyone isolated, unable to connect. These gatherings consisted of my teenage daughter scrolling through Instagram, my adult brother watching youtube videos, and my 80-year-old mother making comments about everyone being disconnected. As a 45-year-old mother, I struggled to find activities that we could all enjoy together. We were all just so different, I felt like the entire family was growing apart.
One night, my colleague invited me over to one of her family game nights. They pulled out a game called OK Boomer and I was shocked to see every family member—regardless of age, sit down and have a great time playing the game together! They were laughing, telling stories, and most importantly, connecting.

Categories include History, Trends, Entertainment, Sports, and Science, so there are countless ways to learn about the kids, parents, and even grandparents! The game is designed to be enjoyable for any generation, from Gen Z to The Silent Generation.

I decided to purchase OK Boomer for us to play over the holidays. We opened the game, and before long, my daughter put down her phone, my brother was hooked, and even Grammy was getting competitive! I have never played a game that got every family member engaged, no matter their age.
We were telling stories, making jokes, learning about each other, and discovering new facts we never even knew! OK Boomer allowed each of us to use our own generational knowledge to advance in the game. It has been instrumental in connecting us while we were drifting apart.
Just imagine an evening with no phones and hours of quality family time. OK Boomer makes special nights like these possible! I highly recommend this game for any family with a wide age range, looking for a way to have fun and bond.

We can’t speak more highly of OK Boomer. It truly does bring people together in a meaningful way that few games can. Our family and friend group loves to play table top games and cards together but there are few games that allow all ages to have fun together. We laugh out loud when Grandma and Grandpa win the game and answer the Gen Z questions correctly! OK Boomer has made them so hip– “no cap”!

Great fun for the WHOLE family!!!
My husband and I (Gen X’s) and our kids (older and younger Gen Z’s) LOVE playing this trivia game… MOM (that’s ME) is UNDEFEATED!!!!! My daughter’s boyfriend is trying to take the crown… compact enough to take on trips for the hotel room and perfect for an after dinner table game. The graphics are beautiful… my younger Gen Z LOVES history so he tends to get ALL the history trivia right! The multiple categories give everyone a change to feel SMART! (hello SPORTS for my husband!)

The #1 Way to Play Family Game Night
This game is the best for it. It really did save our family game night and has brought everyone closer together too. My wife and I bought this game around the holidays in 2020 thinking it would be a great way to spend some time with our extended family, but it has turned into a weekly event with family and friends! You get the best of all five generations that is nostalgia-inducing, family friendly, competitive, and just tons of fun.
